HYPEDAP POLICIES
Privacy Policy
HypeDap uses information to run creator pages, process payment confirmations, deliver stream alerts and provide account support. Supporter names, amounts and messages can be public and spoken on stream. Never put banking details or sensitive personal information in a tip message.
1. Who is responsible
HypeDap is operated by Raahim Deshmukh, based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. For privacy questions, access/correction/deletion requests or complaints, email support@hypedap.com. Please identify the account or transaction concerned without sending passwords, OTPs or full payment credentials.
2. Information HypeDap handles
- Creator accounts: email address, password hash, display name, handle, biography, profile images, links, account preferences, goals and moderation settings.
- Supporter activity: chosen display name or anonymous label, message, amount, currency, payment/order references, payment status and timestamps. You do not need a HypeDap account to send a tip.
- Payment connections and membership: connected merchant identifiers, protected OAuth credentials, subscription references, trial/renewal dates and signed payment notifications. Notifications may include information supplied by the payment provider, such as contact and payment-method metadata.
- Service and security information: IP addresses and request/device/browser information made available to our hosting infrastructure, security and diagnostic logs, session identifiers and support correspondence.
- Previous early-access requests: the name, email and optional channel link submitted to the waitlist, and the recorded contact permission.
Payment details entered in Razorpay checkout are handled by Razorpay. HypeDap does not ask for your banking password, card PIN or OTP and does not store full card credentials. If you provide contact details in checkout, Razorpay processes them under its own policy.
3. Why information is used
Information is used to create and secure accounts, publish creator pages, connect payment accounts, verify tips and memberships, show activity and goals, deliver alerts/TTS, apply moderation settings, send account/service emails, respond to requests, investigate fraud or errors, and meet applicable legal and record-keeping obligations. Earlier waitlist details are used to manage the request and related access communications; contact support to withdraw that permission.
4. Public information and creator access
Published profile information is public. A supporter’s chosen name, amount and message may appear on public creator pages, recent-support lists, leaderboards, dashboards and livestream overlays. The creator may broadcast or record these details on other platforms. Choosing an anonymous name changes the display name; it does not erase the transaction or hide it from payment providers.
Creators receive information necessary to manage support and may independently process payment details in their Razorpay account. HypeDap cannot remove material already captured in someone else’s broadcast or recording, but you can contact support and the creator to request help.
5. Service providers and sharing
- Razorpay: payment checkout, OAuth connections, transaction confirmations, memberships and payment disputes. See Razorpay’s Privacy Policy.
- Microsoft Azure: application hosting, database/infrastructure services and text-to-speech. When TTS is enabled and permitted by moderation, a spoken version of the supporter name, amount, currency and message is sent to Azure Speech to generate audio. See Microsoft’s Privacy Statement.
- Email service providers: delivery of welcome, password-reset, service and support messages.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to address fraud or security incidents, or to protect legal rights. Providers may process information in different locations under their own policies and applicable safeguards. This policy does not promise that all processing occurs only in India.
6. Cookies and browser storage
HypeDap uses session/security cookies for login, request protection and account functions. Browser storage may retain interface preferences. These functions are needed for the relevant features; blocking cookies may prevent sign-in or checkout from working. Razorpay and external sites may use their own cookies and storage when you interact with them.
7. Retention and security
Account and service information is kept while needed to provide the service, manage payments or disputes, prevent abuse and satisfy applicable legal obligations. Payment and security records may need to remain after account closure. Deletion requests are reviewed against those needs; backup copies may remain until their normal replacement cycle.
Passwords are stored as hashes, and sensitive payment-connection credentials are protected using encryption. Access controls and other technical safeguards are used, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your account password and private OBS overlay link confidential.
8. Your choices and requests
You can edit available profile/settings fields, choose whether to publish your creator page, use an anonymous supporter display name, manage TTS settings as a creator, and revoke OAuth access in Razorpay. To request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of previously given contact permission, or to raise a privacy concern, email support@hypedap.com. Identity or account ownership may need to be verified before acting on a request.
Requests are handled subject to applicable law and legitimate payment, security and record-keeping needs. Withdrawing information needed to operate an account may mean the affected service can no longer be provided. Revoking a payment connection does not undo completed transactions or erase records of them.
9. Children and external services
HypeDap accounts and tipping are intended for adults aged 18 and over. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact support for review. Creator links, streaming platforms and payment providers operate under their own privacy practices.
